Key Skills Required

Technical and commercial experience in the building services industry (consultancy or contractor), including design, installation, testing, and commissioning of BEMS & Smart Buildings systems
Project and programme management
Strong technical & design skills in Controls, BMS/Smart Buildings/iBMS
Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Client representation and ability to communicate effectively at Senior Manager/Director level
Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with architects, M&E contractors, and other stakeholders
Tact, persuasive ability, and strong team-working skills
IT proficiency and good oral and written communication skills
Self-motivation with a passion for technology and innovation in building management
Innovative Smart Building visioning and value-centric master planning
Smart Building & BMS specification development
Integrated solutions technical and engineering evaluation/approval
Building performance analysis and management
Team leadership and project delivery experienceExperience & Qualifications

Minimum HNC level related engineering (electrical/mechanical) qualification
HND or Degree level in BEMS/Smart Buildings Systems, Building Services Engineering, or Electrical & Electronic Engineering (desirable)
Excellent BEMS & Controls Systems and data integration knowledge (e.g. Trend, Tridium, Niagara, others) gained through industry experience with a BMS/Controls manufacturer, contractor, systems integrator, or similar consultancy role
Recognised industry and/or manufacturers training and qualifications (e.g. BCIA)
In-depth technical and commercial experience of Smart Buildings & IoT Platforms (e.g. Niagara, KODE, Vanti, others), Digital Estate and Cloud Services, and associated network architectures
Knowledge of integration methods for Smart Building systems and available Smart Features, Functions, and Services
Smart/Wired Score accreditation (desirable)
