NRL have exciting opportunities for Principal Mechanical Design Engineers with one of our leading clients, Tenet Consultants Ltd. They are an innovative multi‑discipline engineering and design consultancy, with headquarters in Warrington. Tenet have now opened up a new office in Anglesey, North Wales and are seeking to engage local personnel to join their team. As an Engineering Design Consultancy, Tenet provide niche design and technical services to a variety of industry sectors, primarily Nuclear. Their mechanical design activities include, but are not limited to:



  • Concept & Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Studies
  • Equipment Specification
  • Detail Design
  • Engineering Substantiation
  • Specialist Mechanical Handling Design
  • Mechanical Piping Design
  • Manufacture installation and Commissioning Support
  • Periodic Safety Reviews
  • Lifetime Quality Records (LQR)
  • Safety System Design
  • Independent Nuclear Safety Assessment (INSA) & Peer Review

What You Will Need:



  • Experience working within a highly regulated industry, preferably Nuclear.
  • HNC minimum, ideally degree qualified and a Chartered Engineer.
  • Able to lead teams and develop younger engineers.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform mechanical design calculations, produce technical specifications and requisitions, datasheets, perform technical bid evaluations.
  • Checking of design documentation.
  • All candidates must have the ability to obtain BPSS.
  • AutoCAD, Inventor, General Microsoft Office package.
