About the role
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with architects, engineers, and clients on data centres, mission‑critical facilities, infrastructure projects and large‑scale industrial sites across London and St Albans. Your experience and expertise will drive project success through direct client engagement, collaboration, and the delivery of efficient, high‑quality solutions.

Essential requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in the design and construction of data centres, mission‑critical facilities, infrastructure projects, or large‑scale industrial facilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of RIBA/BSRIA design stages and construction processes.
- Experience leading and managing the production and delivery of mechanical design within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in sustainable design, including energy efficiency, renewable integration, and low‑carbon strategies for data centres and infrastructure.
- Thorough understanding of mechanical technical design for all RIBA stages – carrying out calculations, strategy development, project coordination, controls and commissioning, H&S and risk management, and technical design delivery.
- Experience training and mentoring engineers.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in mechanical calculation software.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively working towards chartership.
Beneficial skills
- Experience in project financial management, administration and fee bids.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks.
- Experience in Design & Build projects, collaborating with contractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
