Role and Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to be based in the Winchester office. While the team is encouraged to be in the office to foster collaboration and training, agile working is available. As the technical anchor for the mechanical team, you will be the go-to expert for design challenges. Your day-to-day will involve providing strategic input on early-stage designs, supporting with resource management, and mentoring junior engineers to help them develop, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

What you'll need

  • Proven experience as a Senior or Principal Mechanical Design Engineer.
  • A strong technical design background, ideally from a consultancy environment.
  • Experience working on projects in the residential sector.
  • The ability to obtain security clearance
  • Experience in healthcare or education projects is advantageous.
  • A desire to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Ambition for future progression into an Associate role is welcomed.
