Stantec is seeking a Principal or Associate level engineer to join our dynamic and growing Building Services (MEP) team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that's not just passionate about engineering but also about creating a positive and collaborative work environment.

We pride ourselves on a collaborative, 'right-first-time' approach, working closely with clients to deliver award-winning and sustainable environments.


As a key member of our MEP leadership team, you will lead and mentor the mechanical engineering discipline, overseeing multidisciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll manage client relationships, ensuring project success and a consistent pipeline of new work.


This role also involves taking ownership of commercial performance, including fee negotiation and project profitability, while acting as a role model for the team by championing quality and ensuring all projects meet our high standards.


ABOUT YOU

We're seeking a Chartered Electrical Engineer with a proven track record of managing projects and people in the UK building services industry. You should have:



  • A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelor's, or Master's).


  • Experience in team management, including recruitment, performance, and development.


  • A knack for business development, with the ability to win new work and manage commercial responsibilities.


  • Proficiency with BIM processes, including Revit and IES/Amtech.
