Outpatient Physiotherapy Team Leader | Therapy | Manchester | Full Time – Permanent – Outstanding CQC Rating

Spire Manchester are now recruiting a Physiotherapy Team Leader to join their warm and friendly team in Outpatients.

Spire Manchester Hospital is a £65m state-of-the-art healthcare facility offering you the opportunity to work across a wide variety of specialisms. You will be able to develop your clinical skills in a modern and progressive environment. The Manchester team currently consists of over 500 colleagues and we are rapidly expanding as we increase the scope of services we provide across our experienced and dynamic team

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients.
  • Discuss, agree and explain responsibilities for the physiotherapy assessment of patients, including their needs and any associated risks.
  • Using clinical reasoning skills develop treatment plans that are appropriate to the patient taking into consideration their physiotherapy care, risks and wellbeing.
  • Partake in Audits.
  • Support and lead the outpatient physiotherapy team.

Who we're looking for:

  • Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent
  • 5 years post graduate clinical experience is essential
  • Experience of clinical leadership e.g. developing peers
  • Experience of working in a hospital environment is desirable
  • Experience of assessing diagnosing and treating a range of patients/cases
