Physiotherapy Assistant | Private Hospital | Physiotherapy | Permanent, Part-time | Horley, West Sussex

Spire Gatwick Park Hospital is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapy Assistant to join our friendly physiotherapy team on a permanent part-time basis.

You will play a vital role in delivering high quality care and supporting out Physiotherapists in providing treatment to a wide range of patients, including orthopaedic and surgical cases.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assisting the physiotherapists with safe delivery of treatment plans
  • Supporting patients with mobility, exercise programmes and rehabilitation activities
  • Preparing treatment areas and equipment for use
  • Monitoring and recording patient progress in line with department procedures
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients 

Who we're looking for

  • Previous experience within in a healthcare, therapy or support role,
  • A genuine interest in physiotherapy and patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a MDT
  • Flexible approach, with availability for weekend shifts  

Contract: Permanent 

Hours: Part-time, hours over 4 or 5 days (30 hours) and may include one weekend per month. The hours will be flexible and could involve some early starts 0730 or 0800 and some later starts – 10:00/11:00.
