We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Motor Mechanic / MOT Tester to join a well-established, independently run car garage located in Dundee. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable individual to become part of a friendly and professional team.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
No weekend work Salary

£15 per hour and above, depending on experience

Job Description

As a Motor Mechanic / MOT Tester, your responsibilities will include:

Performing routine vehicle maintenance and repairs to a high standard
Conducting MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs efficiently
Ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner and meets safety standards
Maintaining accurate records of work carried out and parts used
Providing excellent customer service and communicating clearly with clients Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Valid MOT Tester certification (preferred but not essential)
Proven experience in a similar role
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
