JOB TITLE: Mobile Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer – with the opportunity of completing commercial gas

LOCATION: Watford and surrounding areas

PACKAGE: £45k/£48k basic salary dependant on skills and experience

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance works such as mechanical PPM and reactive maintenance on HVAC plant, plantroom checks, pumps, vessels, valves, boosters, etc.
  • Other building maintenance tasks such as fire alarm testing, emergency light testing and related tasks.
  • This opportunity is due to the win of a new contract including multiple new private apartment blocks on the same estate; easy access to plantrooms and parking.

  • Reputable and well-established Building Services company specializing in technical building services including commercial gas and HVAC maintenance, electrical services and building compliance.
  • Business established for over 30 years with excellent client retention and long-term job security.

  • Role available due to the recent win of multiple contracts in North London and Hertfordshire.
Candidate Information
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working on mechanical services and maintenance/facilities contracts with knowledge and hands-on experience with HVAC, mechanical and plantroom service and maintenance.
  • Experience and knowledge of PPMs and site compliance is essential, along with the ability to diagnose/repair valves, strainers, pumps, pressurisation units, and pressure vessels.
  • Opportunity for additional training for the right candidate, such as commercial gas qualifications; a mentor is in place.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • We are seeking someone who is honest, professional and reliable with the ability to build good relationships with on-site customers.
