SES, a wholly owned subsidiary ofWorley is recruiting a Mechanical Tool Technician based in our Aberdeen depot on a Permanent basis.

Key Objective:

SupportOperations Team Leadto provide fit forservice Plant & Equipmentwith appropriate validated certification.Carry outservice/repairsin line with the company procedures.

Primary Duties:

  • Demonstrate commitment to safety through language, behaviour and actions.
  • Demonstrate recognition and responsibility for the safety of colleagues and others on site.
  • Promote and encourage team safety in Tool Box Talks & Risk Assessments.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of pneumatic tooling.
  • Carry out Inspection, repair and maintenance of wide variety of Plant & Equipment including Mechanical and Hydraulic within limits of authorisationand experience.
  • Report and document faults in a timely manner and to appropriate standard.
  • Assist and carry out the safe loading and unloading equipment as required.
  • If required work on site or support the other depotsfor cover.
  • If working on other sites ordepots, ensure all local work procedures are clearly understood at all times.
  • Repair/test client owned equipment.
  • Provide Backload inspection / minor repairs.
  • Report any faults & repair costs found in tooling returned from clients.
  • Undertake anyproduct training required.
  • Comply with the company’s environmental policy.
  • Ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company safety plans andapproved processesand in accordance with SESprocedures.
  • Attend the dailypre-start toolbox talk
  • Active participation in safety and observation card scheme
  • Ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company safety plans and approved processes, and in accordance withSES procedures.
  • Attend the daily scheduled safety brief.
  • Any other reasonable duties requested by management.

Qualifications

Required qualifications / certification:

  • Technical Apprenticeship or equivalent

Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience:

  • Good working knowledge of Hydraulic and Mechanical equipment.
  • Full Driving License.
  • Previous experience with Cengar, Atlas Copco, Universal Tools and Chicago Pneumatic.
  • Enerpac training & service experience.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical equipment.

  • Demonstrable commitment to working safely at all times
  • Flexible – able to comply with company and project requirements.
  • Ability to work with other team members / disciplines and in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Confident and with the ability to work unsupervised, working on own initiative.
  • Has a desire to learn and develop within the role.
  • Willing and able to work a flexible working week.
  • Willing to contribute to SES cost-saving inventiveness.
  • Must comply with the requirements of the SES plant management system MCS (Training will be provided)
