Job Description

Due to continued growth, the company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager.

This position reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and involves daily liaison with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, HSEQ personnel, and subcontractors.


Main Duties:

  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.
  • Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Liaise with main contractors and client-side teams.
  • Ensure on-site delivery and compliance with EHSQ, RAMS, PPE, and related standards.
  • Coordinate plant hire, tools, and labour on site.
  • Manage labour and subcontractor activities.
  • Handle relevant external correspondence.
  • Order and manage day-to-day site materials.
  • Update information for progress reports.
  • Maintain document management systems.
  • Manage project-specific scheduling.
  • Communicate project changes to the team.
  • Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.


Qualifications:

  • Relevant trade qualification or further education in mechanical building services.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience.
  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar role.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Project management experience beneficial.
  • Computer literate with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
