Starting salary: £38,000 for candidates with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject)
£34,000 for candidates with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject)

Clear progression opportunities to earn up to £44,000 with further training and experience

All PPE, tools, and fuel card provided

Permanent Full time, 37 hours, 5-day working pattern including some weekends

Location: Saffron Walden and surrounding areas

Responsibilities
  • Get ready to make a difference and join us as a maintenance technician, responsible for carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults and completing scheduled maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets.
  • Work with assets such as electrical control panels, motor testing, level control equipment and instrumentation, inverters, and some small-scale domestic work.
  • Develop experience with mechanical control systems, telemetry systems, pumps, gearboxes and general mechanical/electrical plant maintenance.
Qualifications
  • Must have obtained an NVQ level 2 or 3 (mechanical/engineering) qualification (or equivalent) and/or completed a relevant apprenticeship
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
