What will I be doing?

You’ll be involved in the assembly, testing, and development of electrochemical cells – supporting material preparation, running defined test protocols, and maintaining lab standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test electrochemical cells and cell stacks
  • Prepare lab materials (e.g. membranes, electrolytes – training provided)
  • Operate battery/cell test equipment
  • Maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement
  • Manage lab stock, equipment calibration, and general upkeep

We’re looking for:

  • Level 3 qualification (A-Level, NVQ, BTEC) in a science/engineering field, or 5+ years’ lab experience
  • Practical experience in engineering, electronics, or R&D labs
  • Methodical, safety-first approach with strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to a small, agile team
  • Familiarity with 5S or wet chemistry is a bonus, but not essential
