Responsibilities
  • Weekly site machinery inspections and sign off
  • Upkeep and maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment
  • Carrying out planned maintenance checks
  • Emergency breakdowns and repairs
  • Daily troubleshooting
  • Controlling breakdown / repair documentation
  • Fitting together mechanical components, systems, and heavy machinery according to blueprints and schematics
  • Fabrication: Using tools like grinders, saws, and welders to cut, shape, and join metal parts
  • Inspection and quality control: Checking that equipment and assemblies are in good working order and meet specified standards
Qualifications

Mechanical engineering background; electrical knowledge would be an additional plus but not mandatory.

Work hours and pay

This is a 39 hour paid / 41.5 hour clocked week. Any overtime will be paid at time and a third in the week after the completion of 39 hours. Time and a half on Saturdays and double time for Sundays.
