As the Mechanical Design Authority, you will be the technical voice of confidence. You will set the direction, challenge assumptions, and make the key decisions that take complex products from concept right through to successful volume production. Along the way, you’ll mentor engineers, work closely with suppliers, and ensure every design is robust, repeatable, and right first time.

What you’ll bring:


  • A degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven track record leading designs into volume manufacture
  • Expertise in injection moulding and mechanical design for electronics
  • The ability to consolidate complex requirements into clear, deliverable solutions
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
  • Experience with acoustics, RF integration, cable design or electronics would be a bonus.
  • Prepared to undertake international travel (2 long haul + 2 short haul trips a year)
  • Eligible for UK Baseline Security Clearance plus a valid passport and driving licence
