This role is based on one of the world’s most advanced nuclear construction projects and offers a high-visibility, on-site environment focused on quality and safety standards.

The Job Mission:

This is a full-time, on-site role (five days a week) at a major nuclear construction project. You’ll be part of a close-knit team at the heart of mechanical construction, contributing to on-site installation activities and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

  • Observe and verify mechanical installation activities across site systems
  • Support identification, escalation, and resolution of non-conformance issues
  • Assist construction and quality teams with daily site surveillance and coordination
  • Contribute to inspection record-keeping, document control, and progress reporting

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Construction Engineering (or equivalent industry qualification)
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, pipework, supports or equipment installation
  • Ability to review technical documents and accurately report on site activities

Desired Skills:

  • Experience within construction or energy infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO9001 or FME controls
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and digital reporting tools
