Overview

Have you worked in mechanical assembly on heavy duty trucks, farm equipment or tanker trucks? If so, we want to hear from you!


Our client is an established business in London and is ready to expand their team. They are looking for highly motivated individuals who have at least 3 years experience in the mechanical assembly and/or related field that are wanting develop a career at their organization. If you have apprenticeship hours, relevant work experience or are very mechanically included, you may be considered for this unique opportunity!


Hours of Operation

Day Shift (Mon.-Thu. 7:00 am-4:30 pm, Fri. 7:00am-3:15 pm), some overtime available


Compensation

Salary $25-$27/hr


Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:



  • Assemble the interior mechanical components of petroleum tankers, chemical tankers, dry-bulk tankers and food grade tankers
  • Trouble shoot any form of mechanical or electrical issues during assembly that may include hydraulics, electrical or pneumatic parts
  • Light welding when required

Job Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude and experience in mechanical assembly, and capable of assembling and repairing a variety of mechanical systems
  • Understand vehicle electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, or have willingness and aptitude to be trained in these areas.
  • Ability to read blueprints and visualize a layout by looking at plans.
  • Ability to get along well with co-workers.
  • Physical strength and stamina to perform lifting to 50 lbs.
  • Experience working on trucks and trailers is desirable.
  • Farm equipment, RV maintenance and similar experience is relevant to this position.
  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Must have your own toolbox of hand tools.
  • Extended health care
