Salary: £44,000-£52,000 OTE (basic salary of £32,000 - £40,000, dependent on qualifications)

Location: SLM Group Select Hastings (Nissan Authorised Repairer and Bosch Service Centre)

SLM Select Hastings is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with a strong work ethic to join our busy workshop team.

As a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, you will be working in a busy, multi-brand workshop environment, where you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing motor vehicles to the high standards of the SLM Group.

What we're looking for in a Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent (required)
Experience in vehicle servicing and maintenance
Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence
Team player with a customer-focused attitude

Key responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:

Carry out vehicle services and repairs to manufacturer standards
Diagnose and repair non-routine defects
Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and accurately
Work collaboratively with the dealership team
