Our Boston branch is recruiting for an experienced Mechanic to join their team. B A Bush and Son Ltd, part of the Bush Group, is a 4th generation family run business based in Horncastle, Lincolnshire. We are proud to present multiple branches across the East of England staffed by industry experts. Where possible, we aim to promote from within and offer you a career for life. The branch offers a quality Fast Fit Service to our customers, including tyre fitting (car, van & 4×4), alignments, batteries, in addition to MOT/Service work.

Role purpose
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to diagnose faults
  • Carry out maintenance and repair work, as part of a small team your role will be integral to providing a high level of customer service.
  • Complete relevant administrative paperwork as required.
  • Understand and adhere to all relevant Health and Safety requirements, including policies and procedures
  • Communicate the Bush Group vision for “quality at all costs”.
Key duties and responsibilities
  • Deliver work to the highest standard to fulfil our high customer service standards
  • Self educate on technical information with the assistance of internal training and relevant external training courses
  • Contribute to good housekeeping routines

This role is 42 hours per week and salary is dependant on experience.

Proven mechanical experience in a similar role is essential.

Qualifications
  • Experience: mechanical: 3 years (preferred)
  • Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)
