Are you mechanically minded with experience working on petrol and diesel engines, looking to join a well-established hire company offering a varied, workshop-based role, specialist training, and long-term career development?

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a stable Monday-Friday position with the chance to continually expand your technical expertise. You'll benefit from a supportive working environment, training opportunities and the variety of working on a wide range of hire tools and small plant equipment.

The company provide tool and equipment hire services across the region and are known for their excellent customer service and reliability. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their engineering team.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing faults, and repairing powered hire tools and small plant equipment. You will also carry out inspections, preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is safe, reliable and fully compliant for customers.

This role would suit a Mechanic, Plant Technician or Engineer with experience in diagnostics and repairs across electrical systems, petrol and diesel engines, looking for a secure, workshop-based role with ongoing training.

The Position:
Service, diagnose and repair hire tools and small plant equipment
Carry out inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance
Workshop-based, Monday - Friday role

The Person:
Experience with veichle repairs
Diagnostic skills across electrical, petrol and diesel engines
Ability to read technical diagrams and follow workshop practices
