Assistant Mechanic ($25.00)

Position SummaryResponsibilities
  • Assist the Equipment Manager or work overhauling and repairing automotive/powered equipment.
  • Secure and replace tools and parts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop area.
  • Assist in electric gas welding, lubricate and service automotive equipment.
  • Inspect, change and repair tires; maintain mileage reports.
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.
  • Operate various pieces of equipment when needed.
  • Help supervise and train crew members in the proper and safe operation of all equipment.
  • Look for experience working on golf course equipment.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations
  • Working knowledge of general operations of gasoline and diesel equipment.
  • Knowledge of the repair and adjustment of power mowing equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions; mechanical ability.
  • Aptitude for mechanical repair work methods.
  • Good understanding of golf cart and golf course specialty equipment.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repair of all equipment.
  • Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish).
  • Automotive repair experience is a plus.
  • Google Apps experience is a plus.
  • Must have a valid CA driver's license and have a clean driving record.
Compensation

Base Pay Start Rate: $25.00
