A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Machinist / Mechanical Fitter for a company in the Gloucester Area that build a variety of special purpose machinery.

With no day ever being the same the Machinist / Mechanical Fitter role offers genuine long:term progression and career development within a first:class organisation.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Working to Design Drawings
  • Machining Insulation (Soft fiber)
  • Milling, Turning and Drilling etc.
  • Making Filament Windings on a Lathe
  • Welding of Element Terminals
  • Assembly of Components
  • Basic Wiring

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Time Served as a Mechanical Fitter / Machinist
  • Experience working to high Health and Safety Standards
  • Experience with Working to high levels of Quality
  • To keep your work areas clean and tidy.
  • Other duties within the company as required

Package And Benefits

  • GBP30,000 : GBP35,000
  • 25 days + Banks, 35 hours, Mon:Fri
