We currently have an opportunity to join our Fleet Maintenance team as a Light Vehicle Mechanic.

Your role:
As part of our dedicated Workshop Team, your day-to-day role would involve inspecting, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet any appropriate legislation requirements. If you are a hard working and motivated individual who can keep our fleet of vehicles moving then this might be just the opportunity for you. The role involves attending breakdown callouts within the working day, ensuring excellent and professional service to both internal and external customers, as well as using your technical expertise and initiative to make sound judgements and ensure roadworthiness .
What you can expect:
A Monday - Friday role with only 3 fixed Saturday shifts each year - we respect your time, value your expertise, and give you the space to enjoy a good work-life balance.

You will work closely with teams across the business to keep our fleet moving.

What you will need:
To be successful in this role, you need to be a hard-working and motivated individual, able to work on your own initiative but also have good team-working skills.
You will also need:
An NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance Repair
Be IRTEC registered or a willingness to work towards this
Hold a UK Category B Driving Licence
Be qualified to or have a willingness to work towards DVSA standards for MOT Class 4, 5 and 7 inspections
