LGV Vehicle Mechanic (Service and Maintanence)

£18.50 - £22.00 P/hr + Overtime at 1.5x + Training + Progression

Are you a Vehicle Mechanic with experience in servicing and engine rebuilds, looking for a stable, long-term role that offers great work-life balance and the chance to progress within a respected local garage?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established and trusted business, working within a close-knit team that takes pride in quality workmanship and reliability. You'll be part of a company known for its excellent reputation, both for maintaining its own fleet of vehicles and delivering outstanding results for external clients.

This role will see you working from a fully equipped workshop in Chorley, alongside a team of experienced technicians. You'll carry out routine servicing, inspections, repairs, and the occasional full engine rebuild, helping to keep vehicles running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate would be a Vehicle Mechanic who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in doing things right. You'll have at least a Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance (with the opportunity to be trained up to Level 3 if you have solid experience) and a genuine passion for the trade.
