Job Description
  • Manage mechanical projects within the property department from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects meet compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on mechanical systems and installations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful interim mechanical project manager should have:


  • Proven experience in managing mechanical projects within the public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of property management and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning and organisation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Competency in relevant software and tools for project tracking and reporting.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Requires an engineer with a Degree or above in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in construction management or Building services
