Infrastructure & Networks Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Networks Analyst to manage and enhance our IT infrastructure across multiple sites. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day Infrastructure/network operations (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Firewalls) while working closely with external partners to ensure a secure, stable, and high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the full infrastructure estate, ensuring systems are patched, secure, and aligned with company standards.

  • Support and optimise our network infrastructure, including DNS, DHCP, load balancing, MPLS, VPLS, OSPF, LACP, and firewall technologies.

  • Provide 2nd/3rd-line support for Microsoft technologies (Azure, AD, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, PowerShell), VMware, storage platforms, SolarWinds, and monitoring tools.

  • Oversee infrastructure-related tickets, incident resolution, problem management, and documentation.

  • Contribute to change management activities, including planning, testing, and implementing infrastructure changes.

  • Ensure accurate configuration management (CMDB), support disaster recovery activities, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues quickly.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and infrastructure performance.

    What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure: Azure, AD, Group Policies, DNS/DHCP, Windows Server/Desktop, Office 365, VMware (incl. SRM).

  • Solid networking expertise across LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switching, routing, firewalls, fibre, and network security.

  • Experience with MECM/Intune, Linux, storage solutions, SolarWinds/PRTG, monitoring, patching, MFA/SSO, and hybrid cloud networking.

  • Understanding of ITIL processes and cloud cost optimisation.

  • Proven experience in a similar infrastructure/network role with strong analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills.

    Highly organised, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work autonomously with a strong sense of ownership
