Job Title: Hydraulic & Mechanical Fitter


Location: Eccleston, Chorley


Salary: £29,000 - £38,000 (basic) per annum depending on experience


Job Type: Full time, Permanent


About KS Lift Trucks

KS lift trucks are based near Eccleston, Chorley and we offer a complete solution for service, sales, hire and transport of fork lift trucks and materials handling equipment throughout Lancashire and the North West.


Responsibilities

  • Experienced Hydraulic fitter to work on material handling equipment.
  • Fitting of mechanical/hydraulic components.
  • Replace, Assemble & Fit hydraulic hoses.
  • Prepare forklift trucks for hire and carry out off-hire repairs.
  • Work will be carried out on customer sites across the North West along with an element of workshop jobs.
  • Overtime available but optional.

Working Hours

Full time, permanent role. Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (42.5 hr/week, 30 mins lunch).


About you / Qualifications

  • Qualification or time served experience preferred with hydraulic or mechanical background.
  • Passionate about their trade and finish their work to a high standard.
  • Polite & well presented.
  • A good selection of own tools.
  • UK Driving License.
  • This role would suit someone who resides within an easy commutable distance to our yard near Eccleston, Chorley.
  • We are happy to train the right person who has a desire to learn quickly or enhance the skills you currently have.

You will join a valued service team who provide mechanical and technical support for a wide range of customers.
