Following an exciting internal promotion, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Hotel Manager to join the leadership team at AC Hotel by Marriott Glasgow, home to The Collector's Hall and Hazel Restaurant, two standout destinations in the heart of the city.

Located within the vibrant Love Loan Development, our 245 bedroomed hotel blends contemporary design with historic character. With The Collector's Hall newly opened as one of Glasgow's most exciting event spaces and Hazel Restaurant offering an elegant yet relaxed dining experience, this is an exceptional opportunity for a hospitality leader to help shape the next chapter of one of the city's most dynamic and exciting hotels.

ABOUT THE ROLE: HOTEL MANAGER

As Hotel Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading daily operations across all departments, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and maintaining the highest standards of service synonymous with the Marriott brand. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, driving performance, fostering a positive culture, and supporting the hotel's ongoing commercial growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOTEL MANAGER AT AC HOTEL BY MARRIOTT GLASGOW

  • Manage day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring seamless delivery across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Events.
  • Support and empower all operational departmental heads to achieve associated KPIs
  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager to drive profitability and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Champion guest experience, ensuring every interaction reflects Marriott's service ethos.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with The Collector's Hall and Hazel Restaurant teams to optimise performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and professional development among team members.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards at all times.
  • Monitoring guest feedback and identifying opportunities to continuously improve.
  • Championing our brand values and maintaining a workplace where creativity, inclusion, and innovation thrive.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Proven experience in a senior hotel based role, either as a General Manager, Deputy GM or Hotel Manager
  • A passion for people and hospitality. You lead with warmth, confidence, and professionalism.
  • Strong commercial understanding and ability to drive financial performance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience every time.
  • Organised, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
