At D&E Coaches, we take pride in delivering exceptional transport services across the Highlands and beyond. Behind every smooth journey is a skilled team keeping our vehicles in top shape—and now, we’re looking for an experienced HGV/PSV Mechanic to join us.

What We Offer?

As a key member of our workshop team, you’ll carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles—from DAF and Vanhool to Volvo and Mercedes. You will help diagnose issues before they become problems and ensure our coaches are road-ready every day.

Main Duties Include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
  • Replacing or fixing faulty parts and components
  • Carrying out inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Keeping accurate records of all work performed
  • Maintaining high safety and performance standards across the fleet

What you get in return:

  • £23.00 per hour , with guaranteed 40+ hours a week
  • 8-10 hour shifts; Monday-Friday with weekend availability

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as an HGV/PSV mechanic (or similar role)
  • A strong grasp of mechanical systems and electrical diagnostics
  • Comfortable with physically demanding work and heavy lifting
  • A full, valid UK driving licence
  • Someone who works well in a team and takes pride in doing the job right
