We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our talented kitchen team. As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef and Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management. You will lead by example and ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
  • Assist with menu planning, development, and costing.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering, and waste control.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to specification.
  • Support the Head Chef and Executive Chef in running the kitchen where required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Natural leadership skills with an ability to understand every individual in the team, utilising their strengths and identify areas of development.
  • A strong but flexible personality who is comfortable in an environment with conflicting needs and has a proactive approach to resolving conflict.
  • Excellent culinary skills and a passion for food.
