We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Engineering Manager who has experience of leading and managing field-based service engineers and a solid mechanical engineering background.


As the Engineering Manager you will report into the Head of Sales and will be highly motivated and confident working within a management team environment.

DUTIES

Your duties as Engineering Manager will include :



  • Develop a strong team ethic within the Site Service department and drive a customer centric attitude towards site service delivery
  • Build a deep understanding of the markets and customers we serve so as to contribute to the planning and development of business planning
  • Instil and manage a Health and Safety conscious site working culture throughout the Service Department
  • Provide guidance and support to the members of the Service Team in all aspects of their role and ensure quality deliverables are produced for both internal use and communication with the customer
  • Manage the personal development of all members of the Service Team
  • Work closely with the Sales team to support the Site Service sales effort and help to qualify submitted quotations with visits to potential customer sites
  • Support the Regional Sales Managers, providing technical knowledge to aid in business development
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales and other members of the senior management team to drive profitability of the business as a whole and develop new markets, customers, and products

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Highly competent, with a solid mechanical engineering background
  • Previous experience of managing field-based engineers
  • Good Microsoft Office Skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and able to successfully communicate with people at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Dynamic, committed and experienced
