A growing manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Fitter to join the team at their state of the art manufacturing facility. This role will involve the assembly, testing & commissioning of capital machinery being supplied in to key industries. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a Manufacturing/assembly environment. This opportunity offers technical development & clear progression routes.


Role Description

  • Assist the production team in building machinery to specification
  • Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety regulations
  • Ensure that production targets are met safely and efficiently within the working environment
  • Work cross functionally with design and technical teams, on build issues, to produce a superior product.
  • Actively assist in continuous improvement and standardisation projects and processes

Skills and Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship in Electro-Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience using Electro-Mechanical Engineering processes in assembly and fitting
  • Strong experience working in a manufacturing/assembly environment
  • Ability of reading and working to engineering drawings
