Are you a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Engineer looking for a unique opportunity within a secure and dynamic environment? We're hiring 2 x Mobile engineers to join our teams supporting sites in Cambridgeshire


About the Role

This is a mobile role within a single secure site, where engineers work in pairs across multiple buildings within a large complex. A van is essential for navigating between facilities, and all necessary equipment will be provided.


Important Requirements

  • DV Clearance is mandatory
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
  • Must NOT be colour blind – driving within the sites demands full colour vision for safety and compliance.
  • Proven experience in M&E engineering (electrical and mechanical systems).
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance across multiple buildings.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed.
  • Liaise with site contacts and management to ensure smooth operations, escort sub-contractors whilst on-site.

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in facilities management or building services.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, safety-first mindset.
