Lucas Total Contract Solutions is a proudly South Australian owned and operated company delivering a diverse range of civil and mining projects nationally. With a fleet of over 500 items of earthmoving plant, trucks, trailers, light vehicles, and ancillary equipment.

Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for experienced Road Transport Diesel Mechanics to join our team at our Darlington workshop in southern Adelaide.

Plenty of variety:

Drake heavy haulage trailers, MTE steerable platforms, Road West side tippers

A wide range of general freight trailers

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Diagnostics, servicing & repairs across a diverse transport fleet
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Gearbox, clutch, and braking system repairs
  • Using modern scan tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Reporting to the Transport Supervisor while being supported by a strong workshop team

About You

Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Heavy Commercial)

Skilled with diagnostics, component rebuilds & changeouts

HR licence preferred (not essential)

Air-con ticket or auto-electrical experience a bonus

Safety-focused and capable of solving problems in both workshop & field environments

Able to pass a comprehensive medical & provide a police check
