Commercial Vehicle Technician / Mechanic (LCV)

We're proud to be recruiting for a well-established, industry-leading engineering business in the Pontypridd and surrounding area. As demand grows, they're expanding their workshop team and looking for experienced Commercial Vehicle Technicians to carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs across a mixed fleet -from vans to HGVs.

What You'll Be Doing:

Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of light and commercial vehicles
Conduct vehicle inspections and complete MOT preparation and presentation
Perform diagnostics using specialist tools and OEM software
Undertake complex repairs such as engine and gearbox overhauls
Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and job cards, using internal systems
Communicate with team members and customers to ensure smooth job flow
Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
Stay up to date with training to maintain knowledge of latest technologies and systems

What You'll Need:

Proven experience as a Light Vehicle or Commercial Vehicle Technician
Strong mechanical knowledge across a range of vehicles (LGV and HGV experience a plus)
Competence with diagnostic tools and repair schematics
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
A proactive, solution-driven attitude
Relevant qualifications or time-served experience in commercial vehicle repair
Full UK driving licence preferred
