HGV Technician
Monday to Friday and On Call Rota (shift patterns to be discussed).
Job description.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic HGV technician to join our team, to work on various makes and models of heavy and light commercial vehicles, trailers and all thats in between.
Carrying out routine repairs, maintenance, inspections & MOT preparation, roadside call outs, based in and around midlands and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
To attend all breakdowns as requested by the Operations Centre.
To affect all repairs efficiently, competently, and to the correct standard.
To maintain and develop skills in all aspects of repair, service and maintenance.
To make full use of all equipment and training provided to ensure maximum roadside repair rate.
To inform the Operations Centre of the outcome of each job to and request further assistance if required.
Complete all necessary paperwork and log the details of the job accurately: to include taking images before load/collection and after load/drop off.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to management.
To ensure that the service provided to the customer is of the highest standard in keeping with the brand image and the companys standards.
Adhere to all laws, regulations, and company policies regarding driving and vehicle maintenance.
Work flexible hours and be available for on-call duties as required .
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: to be discussed at interview and depending on experience.
Expected hours: 50 per week
