As the Clinical Service Lead – Radiotherapy, you will play a vital leadership role, overseeing radiotherapy services across all treatment platforms including MR Linac, Conventional Linac, Gamma Knife and stereotactic radiosurgery. You’ll lead an expert team, ensure operational excellence, maintain compliance, and drive continual clinical improvement – all within a purpose-built, state-of-the-art setting.


This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Therapeutic Radiographer to step into a highly autonomous role and help us deliver safe, effective, and compassionate cancer care.


What You’ll Do


  • Lead radiotherapy clinical services across all platforms within the centre
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (CQC, IRMER, ISO, NICE, MHRA)
  • Drive operational efficiency, innovation and clinical excellence
  • Support the Centre Leader and Head of Radiotherapy with strategic delivery
  • Manage and mentor radiographer teams, leading training, audits and performance
  • Act as a technical expert and support the implementation of new protocols and trials
  • Lead a culture of open communication, safety and learning
  • Collaborate with oncologists, physicists and researchers to deliver the best outcomes for our patients


What You’ll Have


  • DCR (DR) or BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography
  • HCPC registration
  • Significant post-qualification leadership experience in a stereotactic or MR Linac setting
  • Strong understanding of radiotherapy pathways, patient care and service delivery
  • Excellent communication, team leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in service development, audits, incident management and quality governance
  • Cannulation training and accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
