Test Mechanical Design Engineer (Entry-Level, Associate, or Mid-Level)

The Boeing Company is seeking Test Mechanical Design Engineers to join our Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) team in Berkeley, MO.

BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level, Associate, and Mid-Level Test Mechanical Design Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops, integrates and documents mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design

  • Develops, maintains, or modifies mechanical and fluid system, component and installation designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Engineering tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle

  • Performs, integrates and documents mechanical, fluid and thermal analyses and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications

  • Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements

  • Develops new design/analysis/test processes and tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort

  • Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • Experience in design or test and evaluation engineering

  • Currently reside in OR are you willing to relocate to St. Louis, Missouri

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 2: 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Level 3: 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA and/or experience with previous internships

  • Experience with a CAD software or drafting software tool

Summary Pay Range for Entry-Level: $65,450 - $88,550

Summary Pay Range for Associate Level: $76,500 - $103,500

Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level: $95,200 - $128,800
