Bank Musculoskeletal Paediatric Physiotherapist role at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Make a real difference in children\'s lives as a specialist paediatric physiotherapist with one of London\'s leading NHS community health trusts.

Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload
  • Work alongside medical staff to ensure highly specialist therapy programmes are in place for the children under your care
  • Work collaboratively with children/young people (CYP), parent/carers and with colleagues in Health, Education and Social Services in planning and delivery of services
  • Act as the key contact for the paediatric MSK and rheumatology services
  • Represent the department at relevant meetings both within and outside the organisation
  • Communicate highly complex patient and condition-related information effectively (both verbally and in written form), ensuring collaborative working with multidisciplinary team (MDT) members across health, education and social services and the voluntary sector
  • Provide training packages to parents and other professionals in the management of MSK, Orthopaedic and rheumatological conditions
  • Work with medical and educational staff to ensure the delivery of a well-coordinated care plan which facilitates the development of physical skills and integration within a community setting, whilst having due regard for the cultural and linguistic differences of children/families concerned
  • Ensure information sharing observes confidentiality and data protection guidelines and local guidance on sharing information with colleagues in education, social services and the voluntary sector
Requirements / What you will be expected to have
  • Autonomous Practitioner with the ability to take a lead in coordinating and providing a highly specialist paediatric physiotherapy service to children with MSK, rheumatological and orthopaedic conditions
  • Experience or ability to work with children who have English as an Additional Language (EAL)
