We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join our team based in Berkshire.

You will be working to provide a high quality, responsive outpatient physiotherapy service for adults & children with musculoskeletal & orthopaedic conditions living within the West of Berkshire, either at one of the main bases or at a satellite clinic.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide a high standard of physiotherapy musculoskeletal assessment, treatment and caseload management in the Physiotherapy Outpatients Department to people with a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic problems.
  • Undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients including those with diverse or complex presentations / multi pathologies; use advanced clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide an accurate diagnosis of their condition.
  • Assess patient understanding of treatment proposals, gain valid informed consent and have capacity to work within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity to consent to treatment.
  • Formulate accurate prognoses and recommend the best course of intervention, developing comprehensive discharge plans.

  • HCPC registration mandatory.
  • Physiotherapy Qualification and UK experience mandatory.
Experience
  • At least 3 years experience as a MSK Physiotherapist.
