Physiotherapist – Older Adult Inpatient Team

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join the Older adult inpatient team, based at the Woodlands Hospital, Salford. This is a fixed-term, full-time post, covering Monday to Friday. We will consider flexible/part-time working hours.


Responsibilities

  • Manage a daily caseload of clients with acute and complex mental health and physical healthcare needs and complete a range of assessments and treatment plans to contribute to the discharge planning process.
  • Under the guidance of the Unit's Band 7 Physiotherapist, contribute to the planning, development and evaluation of physiotherapy services within the inpatient unit.
  • Participate in falls projects and training for staff within the service area.
  • Provide supervision support to physiotherapy assistants as part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience of working with older people.
  • Preferably relevant mental health experience.
