Join our trusted local shop with a reputation for quality, variety, and fairness. Ferrel's Garage is looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our growing team. If you’re experienced, detail-oriented, and enjoy working on everything from classic cars to modern vehicles, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do
  • Perform a wide range of automotive repairs and diagnostics, from oil changes and brakes to wiring, exhaust systems, engines, and advanced troubleshooting
  • Work on a diverse fleet: domestic, foreign, antique, and late-model vehicles
  • Maintain accurate records of services and diagnostics performed
  • Use shop-provided scan tools and specialty equipment
  • Communicate clearly with team members and shop management
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience
  • NYS Inspectors License (Proof Required)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Own your own basic hand tools (we provide scan and specialty tools)
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • ASE certifications a plus – or willingness to earn them (we’ll help pay for it!)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We are a small family owned and operated Auto Repair Facility in Rochester New York. Our Philosophy is "The Customer is Number 1." Our staff is ASE certified and continually being educated on the latest auto makes and models, as well as the latest repair techniques and information, in order to provide our customers with the best service possible. We use all the latest up-to-date equipment to repair all vehicles from antique to contemporary. We have been proudly servicing the Rochester areas auto repair needs since 1981.
