We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate – Statistical Regulatory Reporting Production Accountant, European Bank to join our Finance Professional Services Centre team. This role is located in Manchester – ONSITE.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Delivery of high-quality Schema A production and other statistical returns for the European Bank, including delivery within prescribed regulatory deadlines.

Develop close relationships with European Bank Market Centre report owners and other business areas, particularly Regulatory Change and Controllers.

Ensure all reports are produced in a strong operational control environment with well-evidenced reviews, checklists, variance analysis, reconciliations, and procedures. Provide reporting analytics and MI in a timely fashion, ensuring that reporting deadlines and quality expectations are met.

Stay abreast of legislative, accounting, and regulatory developments, as well as external reporting requirements and procedures.

Participate in internal and external assurance activities, provide deliverable requests, walkthroughs, and respond to queries in a timely manner.

Assist with the provision of regulatory support for relevant projects including new regulatory reporting production requirements, regulatory system improvements, and new business and product launches. Perform other functions as required from time to time.

Ensure operational processes are optimized to drive efficient, effective, and risk-managed outputs.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

Part Qualified Accountant with AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Part Accreditation or equivalent.

Regulatory Reporting experience is desirable, including regulatory and accounting systems and processes.

Organized and structured working methodology, attention to detail, and a highly motivated individual with an analytical, inquisitive, and challenging mindset.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, including communication, planning, and escalation.

Experience in a fast-moving, deadline-driven, highly controlled, multi-national, and multifunctional organization.
