As an Aeroderivative Turbine Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our global customers on-site. You will be responsible for leading activities, people and HSE compliance to a high standard.

As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:


  • Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
  • Performing all mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, repair or replacement of parts as directed
  • Using hand tools and small power tools to conduct general maintenance of Aeroderivative Gas Turbines
  • Executing hands-on job duties on site, including sub-contractor coordination and customer/internal communication
  • Troubleshooting complicated mechanical and hydraulic problems on variable pitch/variable speed turbines
  • Overseeing, overhauling, troubleshooting and commissioning of Aeroderivative products at customer sites.
  • Leading in customer and contractor meetings to share and update action plans and to advise on technical solutions.

To be successful in this role you will:


  • Have proven experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment or turbine aeroderivative technology.
  • Display an impressive customer service-orientation mindset and experience leading customers through tough decisions.
  • Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Have a good English knowledge.
  • Have an EU Passport or a European Work permit and be available to travel globally 70% of the time
