We are recruiting experienced PSV Mechanics , HGV Mechanics , and Plant / GSE Technicians to support airside and landside fleet maintenance at Heathrow Airport. If you have experience working on buses, coaches, HGVs, plant equipment, or Ground Support Equipment, this is an excellent opportunity to progress your career in a high-tech, fast-paced airport environment.
PSV Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / Plant Fitter Key Responsibilities
Service, repair, and maintain PSVs , HGVs , plant machinery , and airport GSE .
Diagnose faults on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Complete PPM and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
Carry out repairs on engines, gearboxes, braking systems, and bodywork.
Use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools to manufacturer standards.
Work safely in line with airport and company regulations.
Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records.
PSV Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / Plant Fitter Were Looking For
Level 3 Vehicle/Mechanical Qualification (or Level 2 with strong hands-on experience).
Experience as a PSV Mechanic , Bus Mechanic , HGV Technician , Plant Fitter , GSE Technician , Fleet Mechanic , or similar.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Full UK driving licence (PCV beneficial for PSV role).
Ability to pass a 5-year background check and basic DBS for airside clearance.
A proactive team player with excellent attention to detail.
PSV Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / Plant Fitter Shifts & Pay
PSV Mechanic: Up to £53,000 DOE (salary review after 3 months).
HGV / Plant Mechanic:
