To ensure a viable, efficient, and reliable energy future for all.## Job DescriptionYour Mission as a Project Lead Engineer What You’ll Do:* ** Lead a multi-discipline engineering team:** Drive collaborative efforts to deliver top-notch solutions.* ** Support Client Project Manager:** Oversee consultants and contractors to ensure project success.* ** Develop and manage work scopes:** Shape project requirements and perform assurance activities.* ** Collaborate with BIM/CAD teams:** Ensure designs meet project and stakeholder needs.* ** Review and accept project documentation:** Maintain high standards in project drawings and documentation.* ** Supervise construction activities:** Ensure compliance with design intent during project execution.* ** Chair meetings and design reviews:** Lead discussions to drive project milestones.* ** Provide technical supervision:** Oversee commissioning and decommissioning, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.* ** Deliver engineering presentations:** Communicate effectively to stakeholders and team members.* ** Ensure safety and compliance:** Uphold Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality standards throughout the project.This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of major engineering projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and quality. Chartered Engineer status or able to attain chartered status (demonstration of continued professional development). Mechanical background.Experience in the following: Project engineering of work packages, including site implementation/ integration, within a highly regulated environment.* Working fully autonomously and as part of a team* Compliance with legislation and standards in a highly regulated industry.* Producing technical documentation e.g. technical reports, specifications, technical queries etc.* Liaison with range of stakeholders.* Basic health and safety training for site visits.* Nuclear safety case (desirable).
