Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists

We are looking for self-employed musculoskeletal physiotherapists to join our team working in our Edinburgh clinics. We currently have openings for daytime, Saturday clinics and evening clinics across our sites. We are also recruiting for our new clinic opening in north Edinburgh in 2026 which we are very excited about!

Prime Sports Physiotherapy offers busy physiotherapy and wellness clinics in south-west Edinburgh and south Edinburgh. We offer musculoskeletal physiotherapy for adults and children, as well as respiratory and women's health physiotherapy and massage therapy. Our main Balerno clinic has a well-equipped rehab gym, a large separate Pilates and fitness studio, shockwave therapy, and a performance assessment suite. Our Clinic and Studio Teams include Physiotherapists, Personal Trainers, Massage Therapists, Yoga Teachers and Pilates Instructors.

We have excellent clinic and rehab facilities, and are now looking to expand our fabulous team. We have fantastic opportunities for HCPC Registered, Chartered Physiotherapists to work with us initially on an associate, self-employed basis offering MSK clinics with the potential for employed hours in future. New graduates can be considered.

We are looking for physiotherapists who:

  • have a strong background in sport
  • provide excellent clinical care with exacting attention to detail
  • have excellent manual therapy skills
  • are energetic, proactive and are high performers
  • have a diverse skillset of MSK skills
  • have the ability to work independently and as part of a small friendly team
  • demonstrate excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • are interested in the possibility of pitch side sports work
  • are self-driven with CPD and continue to reflect and push themselves
  • full drivers licence and ability to work across sites
  • a knowledge/interest in teaching Pilates is an advantage.

There is an expectation that the applicant is currently practicing as a physiotherapist in the UK and is living locally to our practices in Edinburgh. Legally we are required to check an applicants right to work in the UK and cannot support sponsorship, student or postgraduate visas (we will reject applications who do not meet these criteria).

Flexible working patterns of daytime, evenings and weekend working hours are offered. We would look for the applicant/applicants to start as soon as possible and applicants should be easily able to commute to our practice from their current residence.
