Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Site Fitter based in Rugby. Responsibilities include performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of mechanical systems and components. The role requires working with mechanical engineering tools and techniques, conducting inspections to ensure system reliability, and operating in environments such as automotive or industrial plants. The job will involve hands‑on technical work, collaboration with team members, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and schedules.


Qualifications



  • Strong expertise in Mechanical Engineering, including system repairs and installations
  • Experience in Maintenance and Inspection of mechanical systems
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and familiarity with technical drawings
  • Knowledge of the Automotive industry and related components
  • Effective problem‑solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently on‑site with a strong focus on safety and quality assurance
  • Relevant professional certifications or training in mechanical systems and/or engineering
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is beneficial
