Mechanical Maintenance TechnicianCentral London (EC2)Full Time – Monday to Friday, Split Shifts£43,000 – £45,000 + Overtime + Private Healthcare + Benefits

This is a client-facing role with responsibility for both tenant and landlord areas, giving you the chance to use not just your technical expertise, but also your communication and relationship-building skills. You’ll be part of a well-structured team on a modern, high-profile site in the heart of London.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday – Split Day Shifts:

  • Shift 1: 07:00 – 16:00
  • Shift 2: 08:00 – 17:00
  • Shift 3: 10:00 – 19:00(Rotating pattern)

    What you’ll be doing

  • Carrying out mechanical PPMs, fault finding, and reactive repairs across a range of systems (HVAC, water treatment, pumps, cooling towers, fan coil units).
  • Supporting a safe, efficient, and compliant building services environment.
  • Interacting with tenants and landlord representatives, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Supervising subcontractors and maintaining excellent H&S standards.
  • Completing service records, logbooks, and job sheets to a professional standard.

    What we’re looking for

  • NVQ Level 2-3 (Mechanical discipline or City & Guilds equivalent).
  • Proven experience in mechanical building services maintenance.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, water treatment, and associated plant.
  • Comfortable with client-facing duties and providing exceptional customer service.
  • IOSH Working/Managing Safely (desirable).
  • Safe system of work knowledge – PTW; RAMS etc. (desirable).
  • L8 Training (desirable).
