Here at BJF, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our exciting and expanding construction biased business, where YOU can help support the project services division as a mechanical maintenance engineer.

Working with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients, our UK based organisation comprises of several divisions including Mechanical & Electrical, Construction, Projects, Reactive, FM, Small Works and other associated trades.

Position

1.To carry out installation and maintenance ofheating and hot water ancillary installations of all types in commercial buildings (including pumps, motors ,valves pipelines, control gear, and other associated equipment), and be fully conversant with all aspects of building heating and hot water delivery systems.

2.To carry out installation and maintenance of plumbing, drainage, and sanitation installations of all types in commercial buildings and be fully conversant with all aspects of these systems.

3.To carry out inspection of and maintenance work toVentilation installations of all types in commercial buildings and be fully conversant with all aspects of these systems.

4.To undertake fault-finding diagnosis, problem-solving, and analysis of plant operation appertaining to the operation and efficacy of the installed mechanical systems (including, drainage, heating, and HVAC systems).

5.To carry out relevant testing and certification of mechanical plant and systems - in accordance with all appropriate regulations and within the remit of the post-holder’s relevant qualifications.

6.To support associated multi-trades duties such as minor general fabric and plumbing work.

Requirements

-Minimum 10 years’ experience

-Vented and Unvented hot water systems

-L8

-C&G/NVQ for any HVAC systems

-PASMA and IPAF

-BOAS training or qualification
